What we do with your details
Written for the waitlist — applying as a star or a fan. Plain language on purpose: a notice nobody reads protects nobody.
Last updated August 2026
The short version
You send us an application. We read it and reply. That's the whole arrangement.
We don't send marketing, we don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share your details with stars, advertisers or anyone else. If you ask us to delete you, we delete you.
This covers the one thing the site collects: the application form under “Everything Star Hypermarket”. Nothing else sends us anything — if you connect a wallet or fill in a profile while we're building, that stays in your browser. When the marketplace opens and money starts moving, this notice will grow to cover payments, shipping and disputes, and we'll say so before it does.
What we collect
Only what's on the form. Nothing is gathered in the background.
| Field | Required? | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Yes | To reply to your application |
| Full name | Yes | So we're not writing to a stranger |
| Country | No | To know which market you're in |
| Stars: headline, league, social handle, audience size | No | To review the application |
| Fans: leagues you follow, what you're interested in | No | To understand who's signing up |
Everything except your email and name is optional — leave it blank and the form still submits.
The waitlist is for people 18 and over. We're not set up to handle applications from children, and if we learn we've collected details from someone under 18 we delete them.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
Because you asked us to review your application — that's the basis, not consent.
- To review your application and reply to it
- To let you know if and when access opens
- To understand roughly who's signing up, in aggregate
We process your details in order to take the steps you asked for when you submitted the form. We don't use them for marketing, we don't profile you, and we don't make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
The services that store the list. Nobody else.
| Who | What they get | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Our hosting provider | Serves the site and runs the database your entry is stored in | May be outside your country |
| Google (Sheets) | A copy of your application, so the team can review the list | United States |
| A court or regulator | Only if we're legally obliged to hand it over | — |
Because one of those recipients is in the United States, your details leave your country if you're elsewhere. Where that happens, the provider is bound by contract to protect the data to the same standard.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to stop, or two years of silence — whichever comes first.
- Ask for deletion and we remove your record — from both the database and the review spreadsheet
- If access never opens to you and you haven't heard from us in two years, we delete it anyway
- If you become a user, your data moves under the main policy for the marketplace
Applying twice with the same email updates your existing entry rather than creating a second one, so there's one record of you rather than a trail.
Your rights
Ask what we hold, correct it, delete it, or take it elsewhere — free, and we'll reply within a month.
- See a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Have it deleted
- Get your data in a portable format
- Object to how we're using it
- Complain to your local data protection authority if we get it wrong
Write to [email protected] for any of these. We won't charge you and we won't ask why.
Contact and changes
Who's responsible, and what happens when this document changes.

If we change this notice in a way that affects you, we'll update this page and email the list rather than change it quietly.
